LOUISVILLE CASTLE CLUB, Inc.

stars

On April 7, 1960 the Federal Employees Co-operative Club officially started. For fifty years, the Club was open to membership for all Federal employees in Louisville and offered a wide variety of social activities and membership sales and discounts. During that time many of the federal agencies that comprised the membership and leadership of the Club were either downsized or left the downtown federal building. Last fall, the Executive Board made the tough decision to cease operations due to lack of interest in leading the Club.

A small group met, did research into how other Districts handled similar activities and challenges, and came up with a new organization. The Co-Op Club has been re-born and is now officially known as the Louisville Castle Club.

The Castle Club is open for business and all employees of the Louisville District are members of the Club. We will plan several social events/activities throughout the year and will bring back some of the special sales that the old Club had. Field offices, you are welcome to participate in any and all events.
